1. About these terms

This website, eliteimport.ca, is operated by Elite Import Ltd ("Elite Import", "we", "us"), 1190 Meyerside Drive, Mississauga, Ontario L5T 1R7, Canada. By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. A trade catalogue, not an online store

Elite Import is a furniture importer and wholesale distributor. This website is a product catalogue for independent retailers, interior designers and other trade customers. Products are not sold through this website.

  • Prices, stock, delivery dates and order terms are provided on request and confirmed in writing by our sales team.
  • Any order is governed by the quote, invoice or trade agreement we issue for that order, not by this website.
  • Homeowners who are interested in our furniture are welcome to contact us, and we will refer them to a retailer.

3. Product information

We work to keep product information accurate, but:

  • Colours, finishes and materials may look different on screen than in person.
  • Sizes and weights are approximate.
  • Photos may show room settings, accessories or décor that are not included with the product.
  • Products, designs and specifications may change or be discontinued without notice.

Please confirm the details that matter to you with our sales team before ordering.

4. Trade accounts

Some features may require an account. You agree to give accurate information, keep your login private and tell us if you think your account has been used without permission. We may approve, decline, suspend or close accounts at our discretion.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, collect or reuse our product photos, descriptions or catalogue content for commercial purposes without our written permission;
  • use automated tools to copy large parts of the website;
  • interfere with the website's security or operation, or upload harmful code; or
  • use the website for anything unlawful or misleading.

6. Our content

The Elite Import name and logo, and the text, photos, videos and design of this website, belong to Elite Import or the people who licensed them to us. They are protected by Canadian copyright and trademark laws. Approved retailers may use our product images to sell Elite Import products only with our permission and on the terms we set.

7. Links and social media

The website links to other sites and services, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Google Maps. We do not control those sites, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

8. Website hosting and availability

The website is hosted on Shopify, a third-party e-commerce platform. We try to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or secure. We may change, pause or remove any part of the website at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Elite Import is not responsible for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data, that comes from using or being unable to use this website. The website and its content are provided "as is." Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) or any other law that cannot be limited by agreement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any dispute about this website will be handled by the courts of Ontario.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
